During the first of 2017, Raül Refree and Fermin Muguruza settled in a space of the Fabra i Coats Creation Factory in Sant Andreu (Barcelona), to build the soundtrack of the film Black is Beltza, creating incidental pieces and songs in that later different artists would collaborate. Artists like Maika Makovski, Anari, Iseo, Yacine, Amel Zen, The Sey Sisters, Ceci Bastida de, Tijuana No !, Ana Tijoux, or Manu Chao.
The soundtrack also includes sounds from the 60s, such as “He was really sayin ‘” somethin’ ”by The Velvelettes” or “Errespetua”, the version that the group Negu Gorriak made from the song “Respect” by Otis Redding that Aretha Franklin turned into an anthem ..
